Salary (Effective July 2025)

  • PGY1:  $59,596.56

  • PGY2:  $61,890.54

  • PGY3:  $63,990.72

Vacation

    Up to four weeks per year 

Educational Leave / Book and Education Stipend

Residents are provided extensive educational resources and materials, and are additionally allotted educational leave and expenditure reimbursement for attending conferences for residency purposes.

  • PGY1: Step 3 USMLE / Level 3 COMLEX Exam Expense Reimbursement

  • PGY2: $500 Educational Stipend

  • PG3: ABEM Board Preparation / Exam and License Expense Reimbursement


Insurance

Life Insurance: equal to annual stipend

Health and Dental: full medical coverage provided by Christus Spohn Hospital Memorial

Malpractice Insurance: provided by Christus Spohn Hospital (excludes moonlighting)
