Apply for Residency
We only consider complete applications submitted through ResidencyCAS. Our program offers PGY-I positions through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and complies with their policies for all of our residency positions. We do not accept paper applications. Applicants must be in good standing with their medical school and have graduated within the last five years.
Once ResidencyCAS opens, please submit your application. Interviews are granted on a rolling basis until all interview dates are full.
A complete application includes the following:
Completed ResidencyCAS application
Official medical school transcript
Curriculum Vitae
Dean’s letter / MSPE
USMLE and / or COMLEX Board Scores for Step I and Step II CK (It is highly recommended that you schedule Step II CK early in the year, so your scores will be available at the time of the interview. It is expected that applicants pass their Step I and Step II on the first attempt)
Brief personal statement (one paragraph describing your interest in our program)
Three recent letters of recommendation (CORD SLOES, EM Specialty SLOES and OSLOES preferred) at least one from an emergency medicine physician who directly supervised your clinical care
