I’m originally from the Dallas–Fort Worth area and went to the University of North Texas

for both undergrad and medical school. I was drawn to this program after doing a sub-

internship here because I loved how much autonomy the residents have, especially

during their third year. I also wanted a place where I’d get to do a lot of procedures, and

being an unopposed program makes that really easy. When I’m not at work, I like doing

anything that keeps me active, going to the beach, and hanging out with friends and

family. One of my favorite ways to unwind is going on walks, and I’ve really enjoyed

walking along the ocean after shift since its right outside the hospital! I’ve had such a

great experience here so far, and I’m excited to keep learning alongside such an

awesome group of people.
