Medical Student Rotation

The Emergency Department at Christus Spohn Hospital Memorial Corpus Christi is a busy regional trauma center with a wide mix of patient presentations.  Students have the opportunity to see acutely ill patients as they present to the ED and follow them through until admission or discharge.

Memorial offers a four-week rotation to medical students.  In addition to direct patient care, students will also attend morning reports, participate in student specific reading assignments, ride with the Corpus Christ Fire Department-EMS, and have the option of riding with the local aeromedical helicopter provider (HALO).
