The Beach to Bay Relay Marathon is an annual six-person relay running event held on the third Saturday in May. Residents and faculty compete in this event every year. The race is a complete 26.2 mile relay route beginning on North Padre Island, winding through the Naval Air Station and ending at Cole Park along Corpus Christi's scenic downtown. This year's participants included Luis Chapa, John Berios, Adrian Reyes, and John Herrick.
